Associated Press (article excerpt) - March 13, 2009
Police said a woman has been arrested for allegedly slipping some tranquilizers into her boss's coffee because she felt "he needed to chill out." Police said the 24-year-old woman admitted to detectives that she slipped the drugs into veteranarian John Duckett's drink. Officers said Duckett knew something was wrong shortly after drinking some of the coffee Tuesday morning.

I can see how the guy would know something was "wrong" with his coffee but to assume or wonder if one of your employees poisoned you . . . the guy's gotta be a real dick.
You know you're a bad boss when your first response to an unpleasant morning latte is to think, "Hey, I wonder if I should report my foul-tasting coffee to the cops just in case it's been jacked with tranquilizers by one of my underlings."
Agreed. Plus I love that she went with the coffee. Uppers and downers together always make for a discrete, not to messed up feeling.
